This red paperback dictionary is best seen at approximately 00:23:09 in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off as Mr. Rooney rushes into Grace’s office during their phone call with “Mr. Peterson.” The dictionary can be seen in full view near the front of Grace’s desk.

Later in the film, if you look quickly and carefully, you’ll find the same dictionary standing upright against the window in Mr. Bueller’s office when he stands to view the parade passing below (01:04:44).
